When you and your husband have to PCS somewhere new let’s say out of the country like Germany would it be smart to sell one of your vehicles since the military only pays for one to be shipped? My husband has a truck worth 30,000 if we sell to a dealership and we have 50,000 in a bank that accrues a lot of interest very quickly. We are thinking of selling his truck to put the money with the other money to make a lot of interest while we live in Germany since we will live on base he can use my car or I can take him to work every morning. The only downside is the truck cost $48k last year when we bought it. I am sick thinking of the money we will be losing. It’s also paid off.
