Back to back period? Help!

Hi everybody! So I am on the Nexplanon. Have been on it for almost two years now. Had the IUD before and it was absolutely horrible. I’ve never had any major issues with my Nexplanon, and my period has always been relatively normal (28 days, 5 days).

The last two months, my periods have been early, which I chocked up to exam stress in school. But my last period came early,lasted nine days, went away for about three days, and came back full force. I had sex once with my boyfriend during the three days it was gone, but not rough or out of the ordinary.

I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I wouldn’t normally stress about it, but the cramps and the heaviness of this strange second period is more intense than normal. All feedback appreciated! ❤️
