anyone that's been on the nuva ring how long after starting did you get told it'd take effect? or how many got pregnant after having unprotected sex after only a week on it?

Hey, I’m on the nuvaring. I absolutely love it! My doctor told me to wait at least a month before having unprotected sex while on it. And that’s the same case with any other type of birth control (like the pill). It takes at least (AT LEAST) a month to fully work and get the hormones straightened out, if you will. Are you worried you had unprotected sex too early while on it?
