I was told today that I shouldn't get an opinion or say in anything because I'm white. That's the biggest bunch of bullshit I've heard today. Pathetic. I actively support minorities and fight racism within my community, online, and even in my own family. Petty disagreements over something as simple as looking through your SO's phone does not give you the right to tell me that I don't get a say in what happens in the world, I live here too. "well you're white, you don't get a say or an opinion, you had your turn in history now shut up" is not okay. idc if people don't believe me, this is the rant room and it's not a callout post either cuz it didn't happen on glow. this was just one person who had their own feelings and ways of being, so I'm not painting all people of color with the same brush, I'm just ranting about this one person in particular because I don't want to tell anyone irl because of potential drama but I need it off my chest. believe it or not, there are extreme people in every group. either it was a troll or an extreme person, it was on an anonymous online forum and we had a nice conversation before we disagreed on something.
