How do I ask??

I’ve been texting this guy for almost a month now. He is very sweet and have almost everything in common it’s crazy. Butt I continue to get mixed signals about him. He’s sometimes dry and I get a weird feeling somethings up. I want to ask him if he’s into me or not what we are but where we stand. Can you help me

"Hey, so are you feeling this? Or are we wasting each other's time" 
If he asks what do you mean, tell him you get mixed signals. 
I had to do this with my husband too when we first startes dating, He worked 1st shift and I worked 3rd shift, so it was hard. 
I met my Husband Januray 13th (when we first started talking) January 21st is when it became official, July 22nd we Got married all in 2017. So anything's possible

Just ask what he wants out of this. I was very upfront when I met my husband. A few days after our first date I just said, ok that was a great night but where are we hoping this goes because I don’t have time for games.
