Did your family ever want you to date a certain race?

My mom always told me to date a white boy! I’m half Dominican and half Colombian. My mom was from Colombia. She always said to date a white boy because that’s where the money is. Lol! I actually am dating a white boy but he certainly isn’t rich 😂 we are both broke college students. And he grew up pretty poor but he’s a damn hard worker! I know we’ll have money someday. My sister is dating a black man rn which my mom would not have cared. She loved all people. She passed away last year and I miss her like crazy. But I just thought it was interesting that she would always say that. So what about everyone else?
