Dafney • Married 11.3.2011 & Mommy 11.16.12 | Born & raised in New York, moved to Arizona '2015 💕 expecting baby #2 7.3.15!
This will be my second baby & I'm doing everything almost the same except post baby. You learn so much from what you've missed out on!
Last pregnancy I never took advantage of the resources that were available, so after confirming with a nurse on the floor during my tour; I found out the following! Hope this helps other moms!
What's available :
- petroleum jelly
- tons of mesh underwear
- lanolin
- pads
- abdominal binder (yes, even if you have a c-section of not)
- witch hazel pads/spray
For baby:
- small tub (usually pink) for sponge baths
- sponge/brush for baths
- petroleum jelly
- diapers/wipes
- bulb syringes
- pacifiers
From lactation
- breast pump compatable nurser bottles w/ slow flow nipples
- more lanolin
- breast pump flanges
- nursing pads & sleep nursing bra!
- (formula if you don't plan to breast feed)
& these things are already included in your hospital stay bill, the nurse even told me at times they throw items away because no one takes home!
😨😱 I couldn't believe it!
