Letrozole

Hello future mommies! This is my first cycle with my fertility clinic after TTC for over 1 year. My husband is 32 and I'm 31, by the way. My bloodwork (a1c, progesterone, prolactin, and TSH) came back normal and my initial plumbing check was also normal. This cycle we're doing Letrozole 5mg once per day on CD 3-10. Also doing our trigger shot this cycle. We skipped Clomid (MD didn't say we were "skipping" it, I've just read that it's usually the first thing that's tried). Just curious if anyone had anything to say about their experience with this medication. Good or bad. *Update as promised! - I just got home from my US appointment and I have 2 happy little eggs!

She estimated my chance of conceiving twins was 10% this cycle. I will be taking my trigger shot this evening. Intercourse scheduled for tonight and Thursday. Progesterone blood test scheduled for 1/18. pregnancy test scheduled for 1/25. Also ( JIC anyone is compiling case study info lol) I asked my MD about her thoughts on PCOS and whether she thought I had it (since everything I've read online associates letrozole with PCOS). She explained that PCOS is somewhat of a spectrum. At one end you have the classic case (excess body hair, increased risk of diabetes/ heart disease, etc) and at the other end it's just irregular ovulation or anovulation. So, I'm not diagnosed with PCOS because irregular ovulation and/or anovulation is my only symptom. We're essentially just proceeding as though I have it. Please don't forget to update me on your progress as well, mommies! I'm rooting for you!!!!
