Fix gap in teeth? Please help!!

Hey ladies, if you or anyone you know has had a gap in their teeth fixed how was it done and what are my options? I have a gap between my top front teeth, I cannot get veneers as I've had A LOT of work done on my teeth, maybe I can get a crown? I don't want my front teeth to look like chicklits lol. I've had 3 root canals and fillings done on all my teeth. I hate my gap, and really want to hear my options. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In my opinion: I think the teeth gap is cute, but if you don’t like it you can always get braces or invisilign

Get top braces, I have the same gap. You can do payment plans. My MIL pays like $100 a month or something. I think Invisalign is way more expensive than braces.

For a gap I'd definitely recommend braces. You can get them just for your top teeth and you can either get colored or "invisible". Invisilign would work, but once your teeth have filled in the gap and you no longer use invisilign, there's nothing to keep the gap from coming back. Braces will probably be a little more expensive, but worth it. Plus I doubt you'd have to wear them for more than maybe 6 months. Plus, once you get your braces off they'll put wire behind your teeth to keep them straight and you'll be given a retainer to wear so that they won't shift. Honestly braces hurt me a lot, but I had them for almost two years on my bottom and too teeth, but since yours aren't actually crooked I doubt you'll have as many complications as I did. But aleve will be your best friend during braces I promise just keep it with you wherever you go and even take an aleve before they tighten your braces. But you shouldn't have them on long if you do everything the orthodontist says!

I had an embarrassing gap like that too. I ended up getting braces and they had to put a permanent wire behind the two teeth so the gap wouldn’t come back.

My SO has that, it’s called a diastema as he’ll proudly tell anyone. He had braces as a teen that were supposed to fix it but they didn’t work. He likes it so he’s never tried to do anything else.

I had to get braces for mine. However, when I was done, I had to have a permanent bracket installed in the back of my top two teeth.
