recovery after vasectomy reversal

Hi everybody. So my husband and I are going in for a consult next week for his reversal. I'm excited, anxious, and nervous about what we will hear. I am wondering of the recovery time following the procedure as he works a more labor intense job and some research says that you may need to take off up to two weeks of work. looking for feedback/advice on how the guys have handled the procedure. can they still work possible after the 1st week with light duty? ♡ any help
