Have a bad sore throat what can I take ?

I’m 15 weeks pregnant and have come down with a terrible cough/ sore throat - am I able to take 500mg paracetamol soluble tablets ? Just don’t have any hard tablets to hand - any advice would be fab!

Sorry it wouldn’t let me add to my other comment. It’s just an herbal tea but it’s so soothing. Especially if you get the lemon echinacea version.

Throat coat tea works wonders for me!

Gargle with hot salt water(hot enough to dissolve the salt but not too hot that you can’t gargle it)  for the sore throat. 2xs a day and should help in about 24-48 hrs.
