Should I try for a second baby??

Hello!  I am 33 years old and a working mother to one boy who is 17 months.  I thought I was ready to start trying for baby #2,  but people have scared me!  I’ve had several friends refer to as a “game changer” and beyond stressfuland overwhelming,  etc.  I just wanted to see how other moms felt?  I realize everybody has their opinions on how many children is best,  but I would love to hear some other mom’s opinions:). Thanks in advance!

Those same people who say that I bet would say they can’t imagine life without the second.  Having one was a shock to the system and I assume the second will be the same. I’m scared as fuck to be honest haha that I won’t survive. But somehow we always do!

I don’t think it was stressful at all.  However, my girls were almost 4 yrs apart.  I’m trying for #3 which I’ve also heard is a “why did we do this kid” but my girls are 4 & almost 8 so by the time the next baby is born they should be helpful 🤪
