Burping as a FTM

Okay... do breastfed babies need to be burped??? My little one takes the boob and she only eats for like ten to fourteen minutes each feeding. I thought it was too short at first but she finishes the boob and she seems full and usually sleeps well afterwards. I always try and burp her afterwards but she never burps. I’ll do it sometimes for ten minutes and nothing still. Do breastfed babies just not burp? I lay her down and most of the time she’s okay and doesn’t throw up. Also if she falls asleep when feeding should I burp her still or let her sleep?
