Were you actually pregnant but couldn’t get a positive at home urine test?

Losing my marbles a bit.. I average 12-14 days after ovulation until my period arrives. This month I’m on day 18 & no period. It was due 4 days ago & I’m not getting a positive pregnancy test. Has this happened to anyone before? We are TTC and I think this is strange.. trying not to obsess or get my hopes up.

I got my positive like 5 days before my missed period I got lucky

I’m 19 days late & still no period.

I’m going on four days late and I tested negative on the first day of my missed period. I’m waiting for the weekend to get a better test. Like the first response early response. They can measure the hcg level as low a 8 compared to others that may start at 25hcg. Good luck!

It can happen that you either are 
1. Late for your period ( most common) 
2. Ovulated later, fertilized and implanted delaying period but hcg  levels are still too low to be picked up yet ( but frer are pretty darn sensitive) 
3. Are one of the very rare few who need a blood test to confirm pregnancy because urine tests cannot pick up hcg. 
Give yourself a good week before you get worried and by that time you will either get your period 😞, get a positive test 🤞 or can phone your dr to decide on next steps.
