Annoyed...

My uncle’s gf just asked if she can bring cake to my shower for my Uncle bc it’s on his bday.... I’m honestly annoyed bc why should I have to share a minute of my shower with anyone aside from my husband??? This is my FIRST CHILD... and probably my only shower (bc I don’t believe in having multiple showers).. I hate when people put me in situations that make me look like an a-hole. He’s not turning 10... he’s in his 50s. Honestly, they can celebrate it after the shower. The shower is early. I told her no and glad she asked first instead of doing. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
