Question/VBAC/Help

I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I had a c section with my first baby because I couldn’t go labor on my own and baby was under stress. When they try to induce me her heart rate dropped. So they told me I can’t have the baby normal n I have to do c section. My previous OBGYN told me I might not be able to go labor on my own if I get pregnant again. And now that I’m pregnant again I think I might not go labor on my own though only God knows. So someone told me I should’ve lied about my last period date so I should have enough time to go labor on my own. I didn’t lie and I told the doctors the correct date of my last period because I was scared that something might go wrong. My doctors don’t seem like they will support me to have VBAC(Vaginal Birth After Caesarian) and one of them told me we won’t let you pass your due date. My last pregnancy I passed my due date 11 days and baby didn’t come and I was only dilated 1cm. Didn’t anyone of you lied about their last period date to get their VBAC? I’m ok with c section too. Thank you
