Is it ok to have 1 glass of wine during stims?

I like having a glass of red wine while I cook dinner. Is it ok to have a small one?

I didn’t drink during stims (doc and acupuncturist advised against it just in case). Also didn’t drink during my frozen embryo transfer cycle.

My old doctor said no problem with small amounts, but my new doctor advised against it to be safe. Personally I have a portion control problem (and an addictive personality...) so if I have one glass, it tends to be much larger than actual serving size (I actually measured once and realized I’d been filling my usual glass with 6 oz instead of 4 oz) and if I have it one night, chances are I’ll want it the next night... so yeah for me it’s probably better to just stop. It really sucks though - we went out to dinner last night and my husband got cocktails and I was so jealous ☹️ It’s totally different stopping drinking when you know you’re pregnant because you’re so happy - but having to stop because it -might- be a good idea is so hard!!

I was told by my doc it’s okay to have a glass of wine as long as you don’t wreck your body.  I don’t plan on drinking but I don’t think it’s that bad if you have a glass of wine here and there.
