ketchup ferments. I always keep it in the fridge, and my best friend always kept hers in her cupboard. I always made fun of her for it, but her family goes through ketchup super fast so she never believed me that it ferments. until one of her big bottles finally did, it was the nastiest s*#$ ever! it smells so bad, it turns brown, and the gasses build up inside, especially in a squeeze bottle. she refrigerates it now 😂😂

We always keep it in the fridge, my parents did, too. But my grandma keeps it in the cabinet 😬. We’ve even shown her where it says “refrigerate after opening” and she keeps saying she’ll put it in the fridge, but never does 😂

I put it in the fridge , the bottle says to refrigerate after opening but it seems like so many restaurants keep it out, and it always seems fine  🤷🏻‍♀️
