Anyone else get mirena surgically removed?

I gor my mirena removed on april 29th so me and my fiance can work on number 2. What side effects did you guys have?(mirena effect) Did sex hurt afterwards? How long did it take for you to conceive?

Got mine removed in jan 29 and now  I'm 8 weeks pregnant, not side effects...

I had my daughter almost 5 years ago and after I had her I had the Mirena put in. I had to have it removed less than six months later because it "fell down" and was considered ineffective. I never had it replaced.

Got mine taken out after having it for four years to try for another and was pregnant after one period ....then delivered a healthy baby :) good luck

Mine actually came out on its own. I had it for a year and a half. I woke up one morning and felt as if I had a tampon that needed to be changed and it was my Mirena. A few days after I had pretty heavy bleeding for a week or so, but then my cycle returned to normal. That happened in April and I conceived baby #2 in July of that same year. She's now 3 years old and I'm currently 27 weeks with #3.

Oh, and sex after wasn't painful at all. If anything it was more comfortable for me. When I had my Mirena it wasn't comfortable at all and always sort of hurt. After it felt so much better!

I had mine removed in November after having it for a little over two years. We weren't ready to start TTC #2 at the time but I knew we would be soon so I wanted to give my body/cycle a chance to return to normal. We started trying in Feb this year and were very fortunate to conceive that same month. I'm now 14 weeks. After I have this baby I do not plan on getting Mirena again. It had too many unpleasant side effects.

Had mine removed in November,  been trying for #4 ever since with no luck.  Heavy,  painful periods now.

I had Paraguard removed got pregnant immediately and lost it at 5 weeks. My uterus wasn't healed I guess
