How long does the back pain last?! 😣

So I just found out I’m pregnant yesterday, so I’m only 4 weeks but the lower back pain is REAL! Did anyone else that have this and how long did it last?

I am currently 11w2d and I've had lower back pain since around 5 weeks. It comes and goes - I have read that it is due to hormones loosening up all of the joints and ligaments, etc. If it gets really bad, I take a tylenol (though, tylenol never has done much for me). Sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees helps at night. Also, sitting or standing for long periods of time make it worse for me, so I try to not stay in one position for too long. I have heard that warm baths, a heating pad, and lower back rubs help, too.

For me, it’s also the whole pregnancy. 
It was one of the first symptoms that started before I’d even missed my period.. and it’s never gone away and now it’s full on sciatica. I deliver in 3 weeks. I can’t wait for the pain to end 😂

I'm afraid that if it's caused by pregnancy then it lasts during the whole of pregnancy and possibly some time after. My sister had sciatica in her second pregnancy and it continued for some months after giving birth. I'm about halfway through and I'm getting sciatica too. Literally limping around at the moment.
