I’m 14 and I’m turning 15. I have friends that have lost their virginity, I sometime wonder what it’s like. One of my friends FaceTimed me and her best friend was having sex in the background. (It was loud and clear). I want to have sex but 1. There’s this guy and he’s not with his gf anymore. 2. I would want to prepare for it. And 3. Am I legal to have sex? Lastly 4. Am I doing something smart?

First off, her FaceTiming you while somebody was having sex in the background is just gross and an invasion of privacy.
The only smart thing you can do is to not just go have sex because your friends are doing it and it’s making you want to. You need to wait.

The legal age is 16, I wouldn’t perform any sexual acts yet until you’re legal and with someone you trust and are 110% happy with because it’s likely you will regret it if it happens while you’re too young. Learn more about yourself before you allow other people to try please you, if you know what you like then you’re one step closer to being ready

dont just have sex because your friends are. unless ur in france, ur not legal. dont just have sex with any guy, it feels better and less awkward with a guy you actually care about and love. If you have to ask you're not ready. Just take your time, there's no rush hen. I promise you waiting a few years will make it all the more special and it'll feel better. But if u insist on doing it, use condoms and get on the pill. it takes a month to work properly and use that time to build up a relationship instead of making yourself a sloppy rebound. your worth more.

I would wait until you are absolutely sure you are with the right person. I grew up believing you only have sex with one person in your entire life - your husband. I didn’t follow through on that; and I lost my virginity at 15. I didn’t regret it or others until later on. It’s extremely unlikely that someone you date in high school or younger will be the one that you end up marrying. Don’t give it away to just anyone. 
Also. STDs and babies. Please be safe when you do. If you aren’t comfortable with something, say NO and stick with it. 
Final note. Toys are always out there. I’d rather promote that over safe sex; and safe sex over just banging some fuckboy that isn’t going to talk to you again potentially after he gets what he wants.
