couldn't stop crying in the fertility office.. please help me :/

finally made it to my fertility appointment to speak with my fertility specialist about being put on clomid. after a year of trying, and tests (everything was normal), this was my saving grace.

but.. my insurance does not cover clomid. it's 500$ per cycle...... even though i am financially stable, that is a LOT of money either way for something that isn't gauraunteed to work.

she mentioned putting me on metformin as well.

can someone please give me any piece of advice? i'm so heartbroken right now i don't know what to do..
