My little man is 4montbs 25 days .. so basically 5 months old .

We have had absolutely NO breastfeeding issues aside from the fact that he won’t take a bottle. lol

Our 4 month appt the doctor was a little concerned about weight because he was only 13lbs.. our normal doc said it wasn’t an issue and to ignore that opinion.

Anyway i can’t forget it I’m constantly worried he’s too small. He’s growing well above average in length and looks chunky and healthy, the scale (an old as dirt from the Stone Age scale) just doesnt agree I guess .

Anyway my problem this week has been that he flat out doesn’t want to nurse .. through the night he nurses great he dream feeds for 45+ minutes.but during the days he nurses for a max of 5-8 minutes on one side and is done. Is that enough time for him to be full? I’m not getting engorgement or any discomfort from his quick nursing sessions, Supply has never been an issue there’s tons of milk there .

I just have a hard time trusting he’s getting enough.. and bottle feeding is not an option because he refuses to take any!
