Sometimes I think my husband is ignorant

I love him dearly. He is a wonderful person. Kind, hard working, helps me with chores, and my best friend.

But anytime I try to have an intellectual conversation, he has no clue what I’m talking about. He never paid attention in school so even basic history is out the window.

I love history and am a huge history buff and I can go on tangents when it comes up in conversation because it’s a topic that excites me. But he is clueless. He doesn’t know anything about the crusades, templar knights, vikings, or anything else less recent than the last 200 years if I’m generous.

It crushes me every time I think we are having an exciting conversation then he says he has mo clue what I’m talking about.

I just want to have a good old fashioned history buff nerd out but I can’t...
