How long do you wait to introduce your partner to your family?

I already knew his mom because his house was the hangout spot for our group in HS. He met mine on our second date because we got robbed 🙃

I was living w/ my parents @ the time my hubby & 1st started dating so he met them when he came to hang out after our 4th date, I met his after we’d been dating for almost 2 months when I flew across the country w/ him for Xmas, we got serious very quickly, got married a year & day after our 1st date :)

I waited a month. But that's because it got serious very quickly. 6 weeks dating & we were engaged

I lived with my mother at the time i got together with my husband (I was 17), so she met him quite quickly since we would always be together at either his parents apartment or my mothers house house 😅😅

Okay so it depends on age and how serious you are! I’m 21 and have been dating my boyfriend for a couple of months ( a year in may) we are very serious...we took each other home for the holidays and also ( we met each other’s parents after 3 months)

Well, I've been going out with my boyfriend since mid-November, and we became official mid/late December, and I still haven't introduced him to my family.
However, he has had a brief interaction with my dad at school once, and my sister knows him from choir (and she has told my mum he's one of the nicest guys at school/that she knows)

I think at least 3 months. No longer than a year. It’s pretty important to make sure it’s serious. You don’t want to run people in and out. Also it’s very telling to see how someone behaves or interacts around their family.
