right size flange ????

this is a 27mm medela flange do you think it's the right size  the first one is before pumping the other one is while am pumping

Hmmm maybe then. I think when your nipple gets pulled in more, it’s not supposed to ride up against the side and cause friction. But if it feels okay, then 👌🏽 I obviously can’t tell as much. Good luck :).

I read the medela instructions and you're only supposed to have a couple millimeters of space between your nipple and the side of the cup. I would get one the next size smaller. I had to measure the width of my nipple and the cups that came with it were too big so I ordered smaller. It shouldn't pull your areola into it all the way. Even after getting the right size it still isn't as good as the model in the hospital. I should have gotten a new model instead of just settling for less milk.
