Friendship or love

So me and and my friend have been best friends sense 4th grade she had this boyfriend like almost a year ago and now they don’t really talk but me and him have been pretty close through that whole year they were together and still now. We both really really like each other and we have been in contact on the DL. What do I do?

Btw I’m a sophomore in high school now
