Im ashamed and embarrassed UPDATE
ORIGINAL POST:
I just want to start off by saying I don’t want any comments on this such as “you should’ve considered that before getting her” or “getting a pet is a lifelong commitment” because I know that. I feel bad enough and I don’t want any comments that make me feel worse.
I want to bring my shelter puppy back to the shelter (a non kill shelter I may add). I want to cry just thinking about the looks or treatment I’ll get from the employees.
Money is a lot tighter than my husband and I thought.
I want this beautiful baby to have a perfect family and undivided attention.
When my dog and new puppy “play” they’re nasty to each other. Not gross nasty, but mean. (UPDATE: I meant to say that it sounds mean, it kind of sounds like cats fighting BUT they don’t bite or hurt each other) She has jumped on my baby multiple times, scratches and nips at her. She’s very active but we’re a calm and relaxed family.
I hope this beautiful puppy can have the perfect family soon. (In the contract I signed, I have to bring her back to the shelter and not try to find a family for her)
💔
::::::::::UPDATE::::::::::
I’ve decided to give it a try. I love this puppy so much and I forget that’s she’s just a puppy at times. It’s only the 3rd day but she’s starting to understand that she’s not supposed to go to the bathroom in the house. I give her a treat if she used the bathroom outside and we’ll be getting her a crate to start crate training her.
My dog listens really well so I believe I can train them both to be nicer while playing.
This will be her forever family. She’s loved so much already.
