Military Moms?

Question

Hello there! So, I'm seventeen and curtently getting ready to (hopefully) jpin the National Guard. I want to go on the ROTC and then serve in the army, then get my graduate school done and be in the Veterinary Corps. Anyway, this is a question for all the mommas that have/do serve in the military. How did/does it affect having a family? It may seem silly for me to think of this so young, but I've wanted to be a mom since I was young.

I’m not in the service, but I’ve read a lot about this because I was interested in joining too. First off, are you married? Do you have a planned guardian for your child for when you deploy? Because when you deploy (which there’s a huge chance with everything going on) is there someone you trust with your child’s life? I think military moms are strong beautiful women, but your family is never first when you’re enlisted, your job always has to be first.
