Hi beautiful mamas!!

I’m a soon-to-be-mama and was initially under the care of an OB, but after reading birthing stories both here and other online forums, and watching “the business of being born” documentary, I’m seriously considering switching my pregnancy care to a Midwife and having a natural birth experience either at home or in a birthing center.

Any mamas who’ve already delivered, please can you share your opinions on pros and cons of having an OB/hospital birth with medical interventions vs Midwife/natural birth? What you liked, what you hated, what you wish you had known before, what you would have changed? And any mamas who’ve had both experiences please share as it would be incredibly helpful!

This isn’t a “camp natural” or “camp medical” debate. There’s no judgment here based on your birthing experience. I wanted to create a safe space to just talk about everyone’s personal birthing experiences without judgment so mamas like myself who are preparing for L&D; know what to expect.
