Period while sharing a bed

I’m going away this weekend with my friend and our hotel room has 1 bed only. I’m on my period and since we’re gonna be sharing a bed, I’m wondering what i should do? I know most hotel sheets and blankets are white. I don’t wanna have an accident while sharing the bed and on white bedding.

Should I just wear a tampon to bed and set a timer for 8 hours and get up and change it? I normally wear pads to sleep but I know it’ll be my luck I’ll leak.

Any other tips?

I sleep with tampons in & just change it when i wake up. But you could try a tampon & pad.

I've always put a towel or blanket in a dark color down when AF comes and I'm staying elsewhere. especially hotels!

Tampon and panty liner. Put a fresh tampon in when you are going to sleep and change it as soon as you wake (whether that be middle of the night or morning).

you could wear a tampon and a pad, and maybe put a blanket down under you in case of leakage

Make sure you stay sleeping on your side, use some pillows to prop you up, that avoids leaking front or back 😊
