Anybody else get bad ovulation pains and worse in the day of ovulation?

Last night i did an LH strip out of curiosity (i had already done it in the afternoon and got a blinking smiley on a digital in the morning) and it was postivie for a surge. About an hour later i started cramping almost like period cramps but not as bad and more so focused to my left side so i knew i was getting ready to ovulate. This morning i got my solid smiley and more cramping so i know today is the day! It’s never been horrible for me though, but definitely noticable

Yes! Usually 3-4 days before I get tender in my lower pelvic area and backache and random cramping. On the actually day I am miserable! A hot pack, icy hot gel and some big ibuprofen are my friends!
