Lump in throat feeling....what is this?

Hi all! 
I am currently 8.3 weeks pregnant. I’ve been having this lump in throat feeling all day. I don’t feel like throwing up but it feels like I swallowed a small pill and it refused to go down. I read online it’s acid reflux...but doesn’t acid reflux have more of a burning type sensation? It doesn’t happen everyday but it happens at least 1-2x a week. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's definitely one of the symptom of acid reflux.  If Tums doesn't work for you, you can  try Gaviscon and/or Zantac (up to 150mg 2x per day).   I also finding that chewing gum helps a lot with that feeling.   Plus you'll want to start tracking what foods set it off as reflux tends to get worse as you get bigger.  I'm 27w and have to take Zantac every day and sleep sitting up  because of it.

mine doesnt burn. mine feels like a lump. its heartburn. i take tums but it works for like 30 minutes. try drinking milk
