vitex for ovulation? UPDATE

Anyone who has very few/irregular periods and doesnt ovulate take vitex? I dont get my period without provera and dont ovulate without clomid. Im imbetween drs so i cant get clomid, and ive used provera for 3 months now. I want to skip it this month in hopes it will come with vitex ...................................... (UPDATE) Last week my dr called and said i could use clomid again....but now Im not sure if Ill need to, today I got a positive opk after using vitex and inositol for 4 weeks. This is the ONLY positive opk ive seen other than the one time i used clomid. I have so much hope that this is actually possible, i cant believe it.
