No breast milk after periods?

I am 5.5 months pp. Just got my 1st period after the delivery. Will I stop producing breast milk now? I love nursing my daughter so I'm kinda feeling sad if this is true. When did u all get your first period after delivery? Were you still able to nurse your baby?

Nope. I’ve had my period since 9 months PP and my daughter is 15 months and I still nurse her.

I’ve had my period since 1 month pp. It will not affect your ability to breastfeed.

I don't think you lose your milk. I hear about moms EBF their babies till they are 1 or even 2 years old

my periods made my supply drop a bit so I started pumping to bring it back up and drinking milkmaid tea til it went back to normal

I got my period 3 months pp and I ebf my son for 16 months. As soon as I hit my second trimester my milk dried up.
