Just wondering if anyone else has the implant can help?!

I’ve had mine in almost 3 years it’s due to come out the end of feb but I’ve made an appointment to have it taken out this month.

However I came on my period NYE and bled for 8 days then it stopped for 3 days and now I’m back on again.

Could this mean that the hormones are wearing off? Should me and my boyfriend be more careful during sex??
