This week, we learned that our little bean will most likely be born with gastroschisis (intestines outside of the body.)

We’ve been referred to a maternal fetal medicine specialist, and we’re close to Indianapolis, which has both Payton Manning Children’s Hospital AND Riley Hospital for Children. I’m relieved that we live near some of the best doctors in the country, but I’m so so scared.

This is our first baby. Please keep us in your thoughts.
