1. do you ever thing it’s “too soon” to say i love you? 
2. when do you know you love or are in love with someone?

1. i’ll just go ahead and say that i was with my ex for only four months when i finally told him i loved him, and i felt it way before then i just didn’t say it because i was afraid it was too soon. tell him now. trust me. 
2. i knew i loved him the first time i felt the urge to say it. i felt like if i opened my mouth at all it would be the only thing i would be able to say. it was the only thought in my head. i remember the moment very clearly, i will never forget the moment i realized i loved him. it’s a feeling that you won’t be able to forget or brush off. i promise the minute you know you love someone is impossible to ignore or miss. i had several moments with him after this, where i felt the urge to say it so strongly that i couldn’t say anything because i was afraid to open my mouth and have that come out and it be too soon. 
3. a word of advice: tell him. i swear to god my only regret in loving that boy was not telling him i loved him the first time i meant it. i didn’t tell him until the day we broke up. who cares if it’s too soon or they don’t say it back. always tell the people you love that you love them while they can still hear you. while it still matters. you’ll regret not saying and it and losing the chance to more than you’ll regret saying it and it not going well. love loud. always.
