Trouble orgasming

My SO and I are very passionate and compatible in the bed room. I've done things with him I've never done with anyone else. We are very much in love and have amazing sex all the time. The past few weeks however I have not been able to orgasm. I can't even do it to myself! Could stress be the reason? I feel bad because it's upsetting him and hurting his ego. I don't feel like it's anything he is doing wrong. And I get so close, it will be so intense I almost can't handle it and then I just can't. I feel like I need to squirt or something (which I've never done). Idk.
