IS it wrong of me to consider joining my college's marching band while caring for a son?

I really miss music as a teen mother and have been considering joining my college's maeching band when I return for fall. Is this crazy? The shedule isn't too hefty and LO will be around 8 months at the time. Just 3 hours 3 times a week! not counting performances. I'll be front ensemble if that makes a difference. I just don't want to be seen as 'selfish' as I really do love and miss performing.

Giiiirrrrrlllll, you’ll learn soon enough that you *HAVE* to make time for yourself in order to be the best mama you can. If it’s a couple of hours a week to do something you love, then go for it!!! Your baby will be just fine and he’ll grow up knowing how important it is to do what you love!!
