Often while breastfeeding my LO (almost 8 weeks) will whine/ fuss, arch her back and pull off/ unlatch repeatedly which makes it really hard to know when she is full, not to mention it’s painful for her to pop off and then have to relatch! It doesn’t look like she has any sort of tongue tie and when she is latched on it doesn’t hurt. I have tried burping her and putting her back on which doesn’t seem to make a difference. I do not think it’s overactive letdown- I never leak and when I pump I usually only because get 2ish oz. We do give her pumped bottles and sometimes formula as well because it’s so hard to exclusively BF! Any ideas what might be causing this or how to keep her calm and latched for a full feed?? Help!
