Any insight?

Is ovulation bleeding actually a thing? I completely missed my period last month and got it back January 4th (I’m regular so skipping a month was odd). I had pretty strong positive opk’s a few days ago, almost immediately after my period ended. Right now when I went to the restroom, i wiped and there was some very light red/ pink blood. It wasn’t in my urine, and it wasn’t heavy. What could this be? My dr said that because I missed a month of a period and ovulation it is very possible that ovulation could happen very early this cycle. The blood is just a bit concerning because I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
