How do I find a great hairdresser?

Last time I went to a salon and got my hair cut the lady seriously messed it up and I've never gone back since and haven't gotten my hair cut since, which is about 2 years now. I'm scared and nervous to go back to any salon now thinking any result will end the same. BUT I seriously need my hair cut or just trimmed!! HELP lol😅😔 how do I find the right person??

When I see people with similar hair to mine, I'll ask them where they get it cut.

reviews and next time show a pic of how you want and show them how much exactly you want cut off. I always get a hairdresser that measures it for me there's a big difference between 1 inch and 2 inches lol
