When does doctor start checking cervix? Im 35 weeks and have an appointment next week at 36 weeks exactly. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine starts checking at 35-36. Usually doesn't check every single appointment after though. Just to get an idea and if you start having symptoms

My OB didn't check at my 36 week appointment. She did do the GBS swab though. She didn't say if she would check at my 37, but I didn't ask - guess I'll find out in a couple days.

Just depends on your provider or if you are experiencing pre term labor. Some will start checking at 36 or 37 weeks.
