Can checking your cervix too much cause bleeding?

I've done it multiple times last 2 days... I will stop now as I'm worried I've irritated it but AF 1 day late. I'm on cycle day 30 and according to 2 years of logged periods on Clue it has never arrived later than day 29 (28 days on average). I had the tiniest amount (had to really examine the toilet paper) of pink spotting. AF usually starts with a lot of brown blood. I'm getting negative HPTs though. Do you think it could have been irriated cervix? Am I out yet? Oh and cramps all morning today...
