So I’ve had the Implanon implant in for just almost 5 months and I’ve had my period every day for 4 months. I’m exhausted and dizzy all the time and my period didn’t look like it was going to stop any time soon so I decided to get it taken out today! I can’t wait for my period to finally stop! I know I was warned that I’d have my period for 3 months straight but the pamphlet also said that your period during the first 3 months would broadly dictate your period afterwards and I didn’t want to have my period forever. It’s a great contraceptive option but I don’t want my period for ages.
