Feelings for my bff

I think I caught feelings for my best friend. He was home for a month and we were with each other every day. So much happened. I’m scared to tell him how I feel because idk if I should. He’s A Marine now and he’s living his life. Well he’s at MCT for a couple more weeks then he’ll be living his life. I don’t think it’ll change anything if I tell him. His whole family said they can see us together but i just don’t know how he feels. I don’t want it to be awkward.
