Community college

🍑

I got into all the schools I applied to but I have to go to community college (only financially viable option) soon and it's semesters are 8 weeks each and you take 3 classes a semester. I'm planning on taking summer classes, and I only need 12 credits for the nursing program at ksu, so I'll be a done with sophomore year in March 2019! I feel like I will miss out on the college fun everyone (especially from my hometown) will get to experience bc they're parents pay for everything. In the end I think I'm making a wise decision but I'm not good at making friends and I don't think I will there. What was your community college experience like and would you go that route even if you could start all over? Does taking this route leave me better off for becoming financially independent? I'm not looking forward to living another year w my parents tho...
