lecithin?????? Clogged Ducts !!

Does Lecithin really help with clogged ducts ? and how long would it take to come out with just taking that vitamin , how long do you have before it turns to mastitis?? need answers please & thank you

Lecithin won't unclog the duct that is already clogged - you still have to clear that one with massage, warm compresses, nursing/pumping. Lecithin will prevent future clogs. I had several massive, painful clogs (one released 2oz of breastmilk when it finally popped free - thank goodness I was pumping!) and since I started taking it a few weeks ago I haven't had any! I take it 2-3x per day (I aim for 3 but sometimes I forget).

I almost had mastitis in my right breast. I started taking lecithin (3 tablets a day), however, I did a lot of massage, expressing, pumping, hot packs, and feeding baby on that breast. It was extremely uncomfortable, but came unclogged. Now I take it daily to help prevent clogged ducts.
