Braxton Hicks contractions?

I am 23 weeks and for the past few days I have been very uncomfortable. it's not all the time. it feels like a period cramp and my whole stomach gets hard. I have to pee really bad after each "episode". this is my first baby so I'm just wondering if it could be Braxton Hicks contractions.
